Best for: Professional video editors and colourists working in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, and After Effects at 4K–8K. VFX artists handling complex compositing. Production houses managing large media libraries.
A premium video production workstation built around the 64-core Threadripper 9980X and the NVIDIA RTX Pro 5000 with 48GB of GDDR7 VRAM. The 64 cores cut export and render times in half compared to typical workstations, the 48GB Pro GPU handles complex 8K timelines and noise reduction with ECC video memory for stability, and the 8TB of dedicated media storage gives you room for active project files alongside the 4TB NVMe boot/cache drive. This is built for studios where billable render time matters.

Built for Billable Render Time
64 cores accelerates everything that scales linearly: H.265 export, ProRes encoding, audio analysis, frame interpolation, and parallel asset processing. The RTX Pro 5000's 48GB of ECC VRAM handles complex 8K RAW timelines, advanced noise reduction (Neat Video, DaVinci NR), GPU-accelerated colour grading on huge node trees, and Magic Mask / object removal workflows that quickly exhaust 32GB consumer cards. The dedicated 8TB HDD gives you working storage for active project media, while the 4TB Gen5 NVMe handles cache, scratch disks, and the OS. For studios that bill by the hour or finish many projects per month, the speed pays for itself.
Who Buys This
This workstation is for: Post-production studios working in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. Documentary editors handling large multi-camera projects. Wedding and event videographers running batch exports. VFX artists doing motion graphics and compositing in After Effects, Nuke, or Fusion. Colourists working on grading suites. Video creators producing high volume at 4K–8K.
Not the right fit if: Pure 3D rendering or AI training workflows where the consumer RTX 5090 or workstation Pro 6000 would be better-suited. Architecture and CAD where ISV drivers matter more than core count.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can this workstation be customized?
Yes. Want bigger storage (we can add 16TB+ HDDs, NVMe RAID, or design a separate NAS), a different GPU (Pro 6000 96GB, Pro 4500 32GB), or more RAM? Call (905) 247-7085 — every aspect of the build is configurable.
Why an HDD for media storage?
Active project media, raw footage archives, and finished masters don't need NVMe speed — they need capacity. The 8TB HDD gives you room for several major projects without paying NVMe pricing for cold storage. For larger libraries (50TB+), we recommend building you a dedicated NAS with 10GbE networking — contact us to discuss a NAS-paired workstation setup.
Why RTX Pro 5000 instead of consumer RTX 5090?
For video editing, the Pro 5000 has three advantages: 48GB ECC VRAM (vs 32GB non-ECC on 5090) for complex effects and noise reduction; certified DaVinci Resolve and Adobe driver support for guaranteed stability; and lower power draw for sustained workloads. The 5090 is faster in raw rendering speed, but for post-production reliability, the Pro 5000 is the studio choice.
How long does delivery take?
Estimated 4–6 weeks from order. Contact us about current build queue and rush options for production deadlines.
